No Animal Test

SINCE ITS ORIGIN (2007) DOBRASIL® HAS NEVER DONE EXPERIMENTS ON ANIMALS, OR PURCHASED ANY RAW MATERIALS OR ANY SINGLE INGREDIENTS FROM SUPPLIERS WHO HAVE DRIVEN, COMMISSIONED OR HAD PART IN TEST ANIMALS.

We welcomed with pleasure the total ban on animal testing used for safety checks on raw materials by the cosmetics industry. The European Union has in fact decreed on 11th March 2013, the total ban on animal testing for cosmetics purposes.

It was concluded, therefore, a process started in 2004 with the testing ban on animals on finished cosmetic products (“Testing ban”), then extended in March 2009 also to cosmetic ingredients.

In 2009 it was prohibited to market within the European Community cosmetics products containing ingredients which were tested on animals (“Marketing ban”), leaving nevertheless space to market cosmetics products containing ingredients tested on animals in countries abroad the EU community, where the law allowed to test beauty products on animals.

As of March 2013, cosmetics tested on animals can no longer be sold in Europe, even if the testing happened outside the EU.
